English made throughout.

55mm (5.5cm) across case without crown. Size 16s

Top British maker and rarely seen with this centre seconds movement.

A rather nice full hunter by Thomas Russell of Liverpool. The case is a 9ct gold with full hallmarks for Chester 1917 and a makers mark of TR (Thos Russell). The outer edges of the front and rear cover are decorated in the style often seen with Thos Russell time pieces. A larger than usual case being 5.5 cm across. In very good condition, no scratches but does have a few pin point dings dotted around the front and rear cover polished areas, nothing too bad. Clean and bright throughout, all hinges are good, all covers open and close well. Front cover pops open with a depression of the crown, as it should. Front and rear covers open to 90 degrees.

The dial is bright and clean,  signed "Thos Russell & Son - 12 Church St Liverpool". Roman numerals, gold hands. Small and very faint hairline just below the X at 10 O'clock. No chips.

The movement is English made "Warranted English" featuring centre seconds. Running w
