58mm (5.8cm) across case without crown.
1913. A handsome nickel cased Omega.
The case signed Omega. Clean and bright throughout, screw on front cover, closes well. Very good condition, some light marks commensurate with age, no major scratches, only very light marks and a very small flat spot to outer edge at 10 O'clock. Swing out movement. Gold (brass) crown.
The dial is bright and clean, signed "Omega". Black Arabic Numerals. Blued steel hands. No cracks in the main (visible) part of the dial but has a very small chip and light hairlines in the same area, they do not run into the main dial and are not visible when the cover is on.
Signed Omega movement, running well and keeps good time.
Fully serviced including a modern alloy type mainspring.
To access the movement, the front cover must be unscrewed, pull the crown out as if setting the time then lift the swing out movement up at the tab at the 6 O'clock position. Reverse this to close taking care not to catch and damage the hands.
Good mineral glass crystal in perfect condition.
Great for wedding, graduation, retirement, Christmas, Fathers day or birthday present. A nice piece. Recently Fully Serviced, keeping good time. A very masculine piece.
Servicing is defined as the piece being disassembled, cleaned, inspected and adjusted if necessary. It is then re-assembled and correctly oiled, timed for accuracy and adjusted if required. The mainspring will be replaced with a modern alloy type and the piece will be bench-tested for at least one day.
I restore all of my watches to a fully working condition. It is my aim to provide a watch that is not only running but working to a usable state. My watches can be worn and used for their intended purpose on a daily basis. The time keeping should certainly be within +- 5 minutes per 24 hours but I aim for +-3 or better. I do offer guarantees, the details of which can be found on my website for Time Pocket Watches. I have many years experience and a vast catalogue of Waltham spares and parts.
My highly detailed photographs show the watch in detail, this level of detail is not normally seen by the naked eye. The watch will look even better in real life.
