Riverside model 1888, 17 jewels.
A very handsome 1888 in a gold filled Dennison case, 14ct 25 year guaranteed (from date of manufacture). In good condition, no scratches, no dings or dents, no signs of wear to the gold. No personalised engravings or monograms. The front and rear covers open to 90 degrees, good hinges. Front cover pops open with a depression of the crown, as it should. Outstanding for a 125 year old watch.
Crown set and wind, pull the crown out to set the time.
The dial is bright and clean, no hairline cracks or chips. Roman numerals and signed "A.W.W.Co Waltham Mass".
Blued steel hands.

The movement is a Waltham Riverside model 1888 17 jewels dating to 1898. Screw set jewels, non-magnetic. Recently fully serviced including modern alloy mainspring. Tested, runs well and keeps good time.
With single trombone link Albert chain with red onyx spinner fob.
Presented in a pocket watch case.
Great for wedding, graduation, retirement, Christmas, Fathers day or birthday present. A very nice piece.
Serviced.
Servicing is defined as the piece being disassembled, cleaned, inspected and adjusted if necessary. It is then re-assembled and correctly oiled, timed for accuracy and adjusted if required. The mainspring will be replaced with a modern alloy type and the piece will be bench-tested for at least one day.
Statement.
I restore all of my watches to a fully working condition. It is my aim to provide a watch that is not only running but working to a usable state. My watches can be worn and used for their intended purpose on a daily basis. The time keeping should certainly be within +- 5 minutes per 24 hours but I aim for +-3 or better.
