50mm (5cm) across case without crown. 1901. A magnificent gold filled full hunter with matching rolled gold, graduated Albert chain and spinner fob. Engine turned, coin edged case in great condition, vacant cartouche to front cover. 14k gold filled and has the original paper information inside the rear cover. Clean and bright throughout, all hinges are good, all covers open and close well. Front cover pops open with a depression of the crown, as it should. Front and rear covers open to 90 degrees. Very good condition case with only a few light marks commensurate with age, no signs of wear and no major scratches other than what can be seen inside the dust cover. The dial is bright and clean with no cracks or chips, signed "American Waltham" and the SOL logo. Roman Numerals, blued steel hands. The movement is a gilt Waltham 14s SOL model dating to 1901, running well and keeps good time. Good mineral glass crystal in great condition.

Recently Fully Serviced, including modern alloy "unbreakable" mainspring.
Servicing is defined as the piece being disassembled, cleaned, inspected and adjusted if necessary. It is then re-assembled and correctly oiled, timed for accuracy and adjusted if required. The mainspring will be replaced and the piece will be bench-tested for at least one day.
I restore all of my watches to a fully working condition. It is my aim to provide a watch that is not only running but working to a usable state. My watches can be worn and used for their intended purpose on a daily basis. The time keeping should certainly be within +- 5 minutes per 24 hours but I aim for +-3 or better.
