Silver Waltham sterling silver full hunter pocket watch for a visually impaired person.

A factory made fully original full hunter Braille pocket watch. A rare piece.
 
The case by Dennison is sterling silver hallmarked Birmingham 1919. In good condition, some marks commensurate with age, no major scratches. The front cover pops open with a depression of the crown, as it should. Front and rear covers open to 90 degrees. All hinges are good. 
 
It has a bezel but obviously no glass, the bezel is a true factory glassless bezel.
 
The dial is bright and clean, no hairline cracks or chips. Black Arabic numerals, Braille markers to outer chapter ring, special heavy duty screwed in gold coloured hands.
 
Model 1908 movement, dates to c1917.
 
Crown wind and manually set by means of moving the hands. The crown pops out but does not engage to alter the time, this is intentional and a factory alteration.
 
Fully serviced including modern alloy "unbreakable" mainspring. Keeping good time. 
 
Presented in a gift box.

Servicing is defined as the piece being disassembled, cleaned, inspected and adjusted if necessary. It is then re-assembled and correctly oiled, timed for accuracy and adjusted if required. The mainspring will be replaced and the piece will be bench-tested for at least one day. 
 
Statement.
 
I restore all of my watches to a fully working condition. It is my aim to provide a watch that is not only running but working to a usable state. My watches can be worn and used for their intended purpose on a daily basis. The time keeping should certainly be within +- 5 minutes per 24 hours but I aim for +-3 or better.
