Superb Waltham 10k gold filled pocket watch with 18k gold plated Albert chain.
 
126 Years old from the Victorian period. Running well and usable every day.

The case is a Fahys Montauk 10k gold filled and guaranteed to last 20 years (from time of manufacture). In fantastic condition, some very slight marks commensurate with, no major scratches, no signs of wear. Covers close well, front and rear covers are hinged.
 
Mineral glass crystal in superb condition.
 
The dial is bright and clean, has a faint hairline crack from centre to outer edge at 3 O'clock.
 
Black Roman numerals, blued steel hands.
 
Model 1888 13 jewel, dated to 1898.
 
The chain is an 18k gold plated, 30cm long from T bar to end of clip + a 5cm fob chain. A red Onyx spinner is attached. This chain is a modern reproduction.
 
Fully serviced including modern alloy "unbreakable" mainspring.

Servicing is defined as the piece being disassembled, cleaned, inspected and adjusted if necessary. It is then re-assembled and correctly oiled, timed for accuracy and adjusted if required. The mainspring will be replaced and the piece will be bench-tested for at least one day.

I restore all of my watches to a fully working condition. It is my aim to provide a watch that is not only running but working to a usable state. My watches can be worn and used for their intended purpose on a daily basis. The time keeping should certainly be within +- 5 minutes per 24 hours but I aim for +-3 or better.
