Waltham 17 Jewel sterling silver men’s half hunter pocket watch. Sterling silver, 50cm across the case, Hallmarked Dennison case, Birmingham 1902. The case is in good condition, some minor dings commensurate with age, no major scratches, some minor marks on rear cover. The front cover pops open with a depression of the crown, as it should, blue Roman Numerals around front window, acrylic crystal in front window and in good condition. All hinges are good. Acrylic crystal in perfect condition. The dial is bright and clean, double sunk, no hairline cracks or chips. Black Arabic numbers, red outer chapter ring numbers, blued steel hands. Model P.S. Bartlett 17 jewel movement, beautifully damascened. Fully serviced including modern alloy "unbreakable" mainspring. Great for wedding, graduation, retirement, Christmas, Fathers day or birthday present. A box is included.
Servicing is defined as the piece being disassembled, cleaned, inspected and adjusted if necessary. It is then re-assembled and correctly oiled, timed for accuracy and adjusted if required. The mainspring will be replaced and the piece will be bench-tested for at least one day.
