50mm (5cm) across case without crown. 1923. An outstanding Sterling silver pocket watch. The case is a Dennison solid sterling silver, hallmarked Birmingham 1923. Very clean and bright throughout, all hinges are good, all covers open and close well. Very good condition case with only light marks commensurate with age and a very minor ding to the rear cover. No signs of wear and no major scratches. The double sunk dial is bright and clean with no visible hairline cracks or chips but has a faint minor hairline at outer edge at 1 O'clock that is difficult to see but is there. Signed "Waltham", Arabic numbers, blued steel hands. The movement is a top quality Waltham model 1908 Riverside, damascened, gold star regulator adjuster, gold center wheel, gold top plate screws and gold highlights around winding gear, screw in jewels and 21 jewelled, running well and keeps good time. Good mineral glass crystal in great condition. Complete with a vintage looking matching heavy gauge solid silver 925 hallmarked Albert chain with an antique stone set spinner fob, hallmarked Birmingham 1911. Great for wedding, graduation, retirement, Christmas, Fathers day or birthday present. A very nice piece. Recently Fully Serviced, including modern alloy "unbreakable" mainspring. Comes with a velvet pouch for watch and one for the chain, plus a silver cleaning cloth each.

Servicing is defined as the piece being disassembled, cleaned, inspected and adjusted if necessary. It is then re-assembled and correctly oiled, timed for accuracy and adjusted if required. The mainspring will be replaced and the piece will be bench-tested for at least one day.
