The case is in good condition, some slight marks commensurate with age, no major scratches, some minor marks and light scratches inside covers, some extremely light dings to rear cover. The front cover pops open with a depression of the crown, as it should, covers open to 90 degrees, black Roman Numerals around front window, mineral glass crystal in front window in perfect condition. All hinges are good. Mineral glass crystal in perfect condition. The dial is bright and clean, no hairline cracks or chips. Black Roman Numerals, blued steel hands. Model 1908 "Traveler" movement, beautifully damascened. Fully serviced including modern alloy "unbreakable" mainspring. Complete with an Albert chain in solid 925 silver with antique fob. 7mm wide 9mm long chunky curb chain links. 3.4 cm T bar. 2.4 cm dog clips. 25 cm from T to end of dog clip plus a 3 cm fob chain. 46 grams total weight. All parts are solid 925 silver, marked 925 on dog clip. The fob is sterling silver, Birmingham 1902. Comes with a velvet jewellery pouch and a silver cleaning cloth Great for wedding, graduation, retirement, Christmas, Fathers day or birthday present. Running well and keeping good time.
Servicing is defined as the piece being disassembled, cleaned, inspected and adjusted if necessary. It is then re-assembled and correctly oiled, timed for accuracy and adjusted if required. The mainspring will be replaced and the piece will be bench-tested for at least one day.
