5cm (50mm) across the case. Size 16s
Housed in a case by the C.W.C. Co and made of coin silver. Hinged front and rear covers, some minor dings and a small dent to the side, some signs of wear. Good hinges.
Mineral glass crystal in perfect condition.
Dial in good condition, no cracks or chips. "American Waltham Watch Co". Blued steel hands, Arabic Numerals and red outer chapter ring numbers.
The 1888 Royal 175 jewel movement is in fantastic condition, running well and keeping good time. Dates to c1894. Nice damaskeening.
Fully service and tested. Servicing includes a modern alloy mainspring.

Complete with sterling silver, graduated Albert chain. Hallmarked and dated 1897. A Queen Victoria silver 3 pence piece is attached, dated 1898.

Servicing is defined as the piece being disassembled, cleaned, inspected and adjusted if necessary. It is then re-assembled and correctly oiled, timed for accuracy and adjusted if required. The mainspring will be replaced and the piece will be bench-tested for at least one day.
Statement.
I restore all of my watches to a fully working condition. It is my aim to provide a watch that is not only running but working to a usable state. My watches can be worn and used for their intended purpose on a daily basis. The time keeping should certainly be within +- 5 minutes per 24 hours but I aim for +-3 or better.
