A very nice gold filled open faced Waltham. The case is a Dennison MOON 20 year guaranteed (from date of manufacture) each part is made from 2 plates of gold with a plate of composition between them, vastly superior to electroplating which only deposits a very thin layer of gold. 
 
The case is clean and bright throughout, all hinges are good, all covers open and close well. Front cover is hinged. Very good condition case, no dings dents or scratches, no signs of wear. Front and rear covers open to 90 degrees. 
 
The dial is a very well done custom metal dial featuring gold Masonic symbols in place of the hour markers, bright and clean, has a small mark between 1 and 2 O'clock at the outer edge.
 
The movement is a Waltham model 1908 dating to 1920, damascened, running well and keeps good time. Fully serviced and included a modern alloy mainspring.
 
Perfectly usable as an everyday watch.

Complete with a rolled gold/gold filled, graduated, Albert chain. 29 cm from T bar to end of clip. Featuring a Masonic square and compass fob with the letter G in the middle. Has some minor signs of wear.

Serviced.
Servicing is defined as the piece being disassembled, cleaned, inspected and adjusted if necessary. It is then re-assembled and correctly oiled, timed for accuracy and adjusted if required. The mainspring will be replaced with a modern alloy type and the piece will be bench-tested for at least one day.
 
Statement.
I restore all of my watches to a fully working condition. It is my aim to provide a watch that is not only running but working to a usable state. My watches can be worn and used for their intended purpose on a daily basis. The time keeping should certainly be within +- 5 minutes per 24 hours but I aim for +-3 or better.
