Superb condition Waltham 15 Jewel, sterling silver open faced pocket watch.
5cm across the case. Size 16
The case by Dennison is sterling silver hallmarked Birmingham 1911. In remarkably good condition, some very slight marks commensurate with age, no major scratches, no signs of wear. The snap shut front and rear covers open to 90 degrees. All hinges are good.
Mineral glass crystal in good condition.
The dial is bright and clean, has a very short and minor hairline crack from sub seconds dial to outer edge near 5 O'clock, no chips. Black Arabic Numerals, blued steel hands.
Model 1908 15 jewel movement, beautifully damascened.
Complete with a slender Albert chain in Sterling Silver. 28 grams in weight, 30 cm long from T to end of clip. Has a small silver colour (no hallmark) Lion with Amber set pendant attached.
Serviced including modern alloy mainspring. Keeping good time.
Presented in a luxury and strong metal framed pocket watch case. The case is padded faux leather and fitted with dense velvet covered foam, recessed to accommodate the watch and the chain.

Servicing is defined as the piece being disassembled, cleaned, inspected and adjusted if necessary. It is then re-assembled and correctly oiled, timed for accuracy and adjusted if required. The mainspring will be replaced and the piece will be bench-tested for at least one day.

I restore all of my watches to a fully working condition. It is my aim to provide a watch that is not only running but working to a usable state.
