A handsome gold filled full hunter. The case is by Dennison is a "Moon" model, it differs from the standard (STAR, MOON and SUN) as it made to the same specifications as the Illinois Watch Case Co "Russell" model. It is a deeper case allowing a more robust crystal to be fitted. 20 year guaranteed (from date of manufacture) each part is made from 2 plates of gold with a plate of composition between them, vastly superior to electroplating which only deposits a very thin layer of gold.
The case is clean and bright throughout, all hinges are good, and all covers open and close well. The front cover pops open with a depression of the crown, as it should. Good overall condition case, it has some minor and small dings to the front and rear covers, no scratches, no signs of wear. Front and rear covers open to 90 degrees.
The dial is bright and clean, no hairline cracks, signed "Thomas Russell & Son Liverpool," and features the Tempus Fugit logo. Roman Numerals, blued steel hands.
The movement is a Swiss made and Thomas Russell signed, running well and keeps good time.

Servicing is defined as the piece being disassembled, cleaned, inspected and adjusted if necessary. It is then re-assembled and correctly oiled, timed for accuracy and adjusted if required. The mainspring will be replaced with a modern alloy type and the piece will be bench-tested for at least one day.
Statement.
I restore all of my watches to a fully working condition. It is my aim to provide a watch that is not only running but working to a usable state. My watches can be worn and used for their intended purpose on a daily basis. The time keeping should certainly be within +- 5 minutes per 24 hours, but I aim for +-3 or better.
